Domovoi Folk Shawl from Cheryl Oberle-Blocking

Bij het opspannen van deze sjaal gebruikte ik voor het eerst de blocking wires die ik onlangs kocht bij Wolhemel in Groningen. Een stuk vast- of ander tapijt blijf ik hiervoor ideaal vinden.
For the blocking of this shawl I used for the first time the blocking wires I bought at Wolhemel in Groningen. I still prefer a carpet as an underground:


De tip van de puntjes zet ik liever vast met een speld i.p.v. de wires erdoorheen te steken omdat je ze op die manier echt kan vastpinnen in de ondergrond:

Door het gebruik van de wires bekwam ik een perfecte rechthoek:

That's really lovely! Glad you got the cat off the yarn so you could finish it, but now you seem to have the problem of removing the cat so you can wear it :)

leuk om dat blokken met die ijzers (wires) eens gedemonstreerd te zien... nog iets dat op mijn verlanglijstje kan.

Wat prachtig en zo profesioneel. Blokken was nooit mijn favoriete bezgheid, als ik het hier zo bekijk lijkt een leuk klusje, maar je hebt dan ook een geweldig hulpje.
