The chocolatière from the shop was too nice a souvenir to resist. The wooden stirrer out of Indian sheesham wood is meant to froth the chocolate...

Comme souvenir de cette visite très agréable j'ai rapporté une chocolatière avec moussoir...

Begin juni bracht ik enkele dagen door in Honfleur in Normandië. De vakantiekiekjes tonen duidelijk aan waarom deze plek geliefd is bij kunstschilders:
At the beginning of June I had a lovely stay in Honfleur in Normandy. The pictures show clearly why this region is beloved by painters:

Een bijzonder evenement was de processie op Pinkstermaandag waarbij kleine scheepsmodellen door de kinderen van het stadje op de schouders werden rondgedragen:

Tag Galaxy

Zopas een originele zoekmachine gevonden, Tag Galaxy genaamd. Eerst dient men een zoekwoord in te vullen (breien, haken,...) en dan verschijnt een wereldbol die je met de computermuis kan doen draaien. Als je op een foto klikt verschijnt die eerst in het klein, nog eens klikken geeft een grotere foto met uitleg. Bovenaan rechts op de foto kan je klikken om ze te sluiten. Als er gerelateerde zoekwoorden bestaan verschijnt een sterrenstelsel vandaar "Tag Galaxy". Goed voor een tijdje aangenaam surfplezier...
I just discovered an entertaining searching machine named Tag Galaxy. First you have to fill in a tag (knitting, crochet,...) and then a globe appears that you can rotate with the computer mouse. When clicking on a picture it is in small format first and with a second click you get a bigger one with text. The picture can be closed in the upper right corner. When related tags exist a "Tag Galaxy" appears. Another agreeable time sucker...
Je viens de découvrir un moteur de recherche agréable qui porte le nom de Tag Galaxy. D'abord on doit entrer un mot de recherche (La Droguerie par example!) et on obtient un globe plein d'images. En clicquant une première fois sur une photo c'est petit, un second clic donne une image plus grande avec explications. Quand il existe des tags apparentés une "tag galaxie" apparaît. Très amusant...
